Searchlights is a progressive indie rock band that started tracking music in September 2009. The name is taken from an americana album called Searchlights in Mexico. Frontman Chris Baron conceived the project as a follow-up to Evelate, a power-trio extravaganza that was recorded in late 2005. The band is based in Portland, OR, and features Joe Bass (from local Incubus tribute band Idiot SCIENCE) and Dusty Beats.
