Huge Sally is a folk n’ blues duo in abundance.
Jake Riggs lives in Austin, Texas, and sings and plays lead guitar with a
deep southern blues influence. Long-time friend Chris Baron
lives in Portland, Oregon, and writes a hell of a lot of
songs with his furious rock & roll edge.
Combining into Huge Sally was both inevitable, and impossible.
The two alternate as leading men, and display an interesting
diversity of collectible songs.

In 2007, they independently released Cold Hearted Bastard
and from a home base in Portland began to appear around the region.
They officially toured the western United States twice, performed at SXSW
in Austin four straight years, and have informally won at least honorable
mention at every contest they ever entered. Well done guys!

The Huge and The Sally returned to their respective homes at the end of
their July 2010 tour. Their new self-titled album, co-produced by
Bad!Austin, was releassed in the fall of 2011. The band plans to reunited
once again for a Texas Tour in March 2012,
and for an Oregon Tour in the summer of 2012,
with one more Oregon tour in the summer of 2013
